AI Security Awareness - Day 7
"Your prompts are just another form of data."

Vulnerability Focus
Be aware of what is there in your prompt before hitting send.
We treat prompts as throwaway — a quick question, then gone. But to the system on the other end, every prompt is a record: stored, timestamped, and sometimes reviewed by people. A prompt is data, and it deserves the same care as any file you'd hand outside your walls.
What lives inside a prompt
Context you paste to "help the model" — client names, ticket numbers, snippets of internal docs — all become part of that permanent record. The more you include, the more you expose.
Prompt with intention
- Assume everything you type is logged and could be read later.
- Include the minimum context needed to get a good answer.
- Review the prompt before you hit send, not after.
Once you see prompts as data, the right instinct follows naturally. Full prompt audit logs give you a record of exactly what was sent — so nothing about your AI usage is a mystery.
