Modern AI is built to consume context. Connectors, retrieval, file access, browsing — the whole design pulls in as much information as it can to produce a better answer. That appetite is useful, and it's exactly why it needs supervision.

More access, more risk

Every connector you enable and every folder you grant widens what the model can reach. An agent with broad access isn't more helpful in proportion — it's more dangerous in proportion.

Keep it on a diet

• Scope integrations to the specific data a task actually needs.
• Grant least-privilege file and API access, then revisit it regularly.
• Monitor what your AI reads, not just what it writes.

A hungry system with an open pantry will eventually snack on something it shouldn't. Control exactly what agents can touch with a tool-permission layer that decides access per action, not all at once.
